Simple Notes by Blaxmith (“the App”) is developed by Blaxmith LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

SUMMARY
Simple Notes stores your notes securely in the cloud to enable sync across devices. We use AI services to power search and writing assistance features. We do not sell your data or use advertising.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information When you sign in with Apple, we receive:

• A unique user identifier
• Your email address (if you choose to share it)
• Your name (if you choose to share it)

Note Content

• The text content of your notes (titles and body)
• Note metadata (creation date, modification date, tags, pinned status)

Usage Data

• AI feature usage counts (for enforcing subscription limits)
• Timestamps of AI operations

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Your data is used to: • Store and sync your notes across devices • Power AI features (search, writing suggestions, tag analysis) • Enforce subscription usage limits • Authenticate your account

CLOUD SERVICES
Supabase Your notes are stored on Supabase, a secure cloud database service.

Data is:

• Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Protected by row-level security (only you can access your notes)
• Stored on servers in the United States

OpenAI

When you use AI features, your note content is sent to OpenAI to:

• Generate semantic embeddings for search
• Provide writing suggestions and summaries
• Analyze and suggest tags

OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.

LOCAL STORAGE
The App stores a complete copy of your notes on your device for offline access. This data:

• Is encrypted by iOS
• Remains on your device until you delete the App
• Syncs with the cloud when connected

SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We receive:

• Transaction identifiers
• Subscription status and expiration dates

We never receive or store your payment card information.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Simple Notes uses:

• Supabase – Cloud database and authentication
• OpenAI – AI-powered features
• Apple – Sign in with Apple and payment processing We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

DATA SECURITY
We protect your data through:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Row-level security ensuring only you can access your notes
• Secure authentication via Sign in with Apple

DATA RETENTION
Your data is retained as long as you maintain an account. Deleted notes are soft-deleted and may be recoverable for a limited time before permanent removal.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Simple Notes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

YOUR RIGHTS
You may:

• Access your notes at any time through the App
• Delete individual notes
• Sign out to remove local session data
• Request account deletion by contacting us

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
